These Terms govern your use of ReceiptCash AI (the "Service"), available at https://www.receiptcash.com and https://app.receiptcash.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. What the Service does

ReceiptCash AI helps you scan store receipts, identifies refunds you may be eligible for under publicly available store policies, and drafts claim messages for you to review. You decide whether to send any claim, and you send it yourself. We do not submit claims automatically on your behalf.

3. No guarantee of refunds

We do not guarantee that any store will approve a refund, or the amount of any refund. Refund decisions are made solely by the retailer under their own policies. Eligibility estimates are provided for your convenience and may not be exact.

4. Fees

When a refund you pursued through the Service is approved, you agree to pay a 15% success fee on the amount you recovered, as described on our Pricing page. You agree to report recovered amounts honestly. Fees are drawn from your prepaid wallet, which you fund through our payment provider.

5. Payments & Merchant of Record

Wallet top-ups and any future subscription are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (paddle.com), acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction, billing, and any applicable taxes. Their terms also apply to the payment portion of your purchase. We never store your full payment card details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: submitting false or fraudulent claims, abusing the money-back guarantee, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or violating any store's or third party's rights or terms. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited license to process receipt text and claim data solely to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Receipt images are deleted immediately after text extraction.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptCash AI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. The Service does not provide legal advice.

9. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms.
